VOCAL OCTET ALUMNI CHOIR
The La Sierra University Vocal Octet Alumni Choir is comprised of former members of the La Sierra University Vocal Octet. The Octet served as the elite choral performing ensemble at La Sierra University from 1989–2007. The Octet performed widely throughout the West, provided music for University and civic functions, as well as performances at schools and churches. The group was featured at the GC session in Toronto, the NAD Teachers’ convention in Dallas, and at the dedication of the Medal of Honor Memorial at the Riverside National Cemetery. William Chunestudy is the group’s founder and only conductor. This is the third reunion concert by Octet alumni since the group disbanded in 2007. The accompanist for this evening’s concert is Jed de la Paz.
