Predators come in a diverse range of sizes and play a vital role in maintaining the ecology of our planet. With their teeth, beaks, claws, and other unusual adaptations for killing, they consume a bewildering diversity of prey items. Humans have developed an intense fascination with predators: some invoke fear and loathing, while others have become pets in our home. This family-friendly presentation will feature a dazzling number of predators, including fascinating representatives among reptiles, birds, and mammals. It will also offer answers to questions regarding the roles of predators in nature, the relative danger of various animals, and the origin of killing for a living.
